On August 13-14, 2018 a Tribal Transportation Safety Workshop was held at the FHWA office in Sacramento, CA. The event was well attended by employees of Tribal governments, CalTrans Division of Local Assistance, CalTrans Native American Liaison Branch, the National Indian Justice Center, and Federal Highway Administration. While most attended the event in Sacramento, some participated through a video conference. The workshop consisted of presentations as well as opportunity to discuss transportation safety topics as shown on the Event Agenda.
